1953 born in Braunschweig, Germany 1973 immigration to India living and working in Auroville and Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry: study of vocal hindusthani music with Sri Mohan Bhai, and hindi with Miss Hero Di, study of tabla with Sri Tarun Das and Sri Harit Kumar Bhattacharya all from Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry; development of Overtone chant in combination with breathing excercises originating from Hatha Yoga and Karate.
1981 immigration to Netherlands since 1982 teaching overtone chant and musical awareness at many different institutions; concerts with gongs, singing bowls and overtone chant, and seminars about the healing quality of music at: conservatories, music schools, basic schools, new age centers, yoga centers, theatergroups, institutions for mentally and physically handicapped people, hospices, spiritual schools like the rosencrucians and freemasons lodge, cultural institutions, logopedist institutions, a.o.

Besides that, study of western classical music theory and west.class.music history in which I graduated. Study of classical voice training (belcanto) with Meta Bourgonjen, Conservatory Tilburg and Felix Schoonenboom, Conservatory Zwolle and further interpretation in Gregorian Chant, with Lida Dekkers.

Next to the work in netherlands I am giving concerts and workshops in: Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Great Britain, Sweden, Turkey and India. (Radio and TV intervieuws and documentations on my work in Netherland and Sweden.)
